Monica and Colm, The Heritage Hotel, 19th August 2011

I must be a very lucky photographer, as I seem to get the nicest couples to work with and Monica and Colm are no exception.  They are such a sweet and considerate couple, and they enjoyed every minute of their day with their family, friends and with each other.  Monica's stunning dress was by Marianne Caroe (Myrtle Ivory), her Aunt designed the flowers, and her hair was done by her good friend Catherine O'Brien (Ni A'S Hair and Beauty Salon, Templemore). The weather was a bit blustery, but the sun came out briefly for some photographs in the grounds of St John's Church in Killenad after their ceremony, and then we only had to cross the road to The Heritage Hotel, where Monica and Colm and their guests enjoyed a super reception.

Here are some highlights from their day.

Maeve and Keith, 26th August 2011, Rathsallagh House

Loved this wedding from start to finish!  Maeve and Keith are the loveliest people, really chilled and funny.  Their reception in Rathsallagh House was ideal - the sun was shining, their guests had aperitifs in the beautiful walled gardens, then moved into the stunningly decorated dining room and enjoyed a fantastic meal.  Maeve and Keith had also arranged a surprise for their guests with singing waiters, these guys were amazing and had everyone on their feet singing by the end!

Thank you so much Maeve and Keith for having me photograph your wedding, it was an absolute pleasure.

A little sneak peak

We made the most of the blustery conditions in this shot! Though the weather wasn't the most co-operative, Monica and Colm thoroughly enjoyed their fantastic wedding. I'm looking forward to blogging more highlights from their wedding when they get back from their honeymoon.

Natasha and Stephen, 2nd July 2011

I had a fantastic day last Saturday photographing Natasha and Stephen's wedding in Kiltyclogher and the Radisson Blu Farnham Estate Hotel in Cavan. As you can see from the photographs, Natasha was absolutely stunning.  Her dress was by Alfred Sung, she wore her grandmother's broach in her hair, and a locket on her beautiful bouquet by Clare Flower contained photos of both her grandmothers.

Natasha had put so much thought into each aspect of the day, everywhere you looked there were beautiful, thoughtful details.  And I say Natasha, because Stephen by his own admission is the most laid back guy you could find.  And he cruised through the day with great humour, never taking his eyes off his beautiful wife.

It was a fabulous day, and now they are off on honeymoon for a well deserved holiday.  Hope you enjoy the photographs, and please click on the link below to see a slideshow of their day's highlights.

Maeve and Keith's pre wedding shoot

I had great fun shooting Maeve and Keith's pre wedding session in the Rathsallagh House in Kildare.  They are such a laid back couple, with a great sense of humour, I'm sure their wedding day is going to be great fun - can't wait!

Natasha & Stephen's pre wedding shoot

I met up with Natasha and Stephen last week in Farnham Estate where they'll be having their wedding reception in July.
They are a gorgeous couple, Natasha is super organised and has put so much thought into her wedding details it is going to be
really exciting to shoot.  Stephen is head chef of Pichet Restaurant in Dublin, and Natasha is a pastry chef and will be making
their wedding cake, so expect lots of delicious photos!
