Sandra is a neighbour and friend.  When she was younger she and her sister Suzie used to babysit my kids.  Her Mam and Dad are literally the best neighbours in the world!  Whenever I've locked myself out (which happens frequently) or Derek is trying to hang a picture (thankfully infrequently) Brenda or James are always on hand to help us out.  I was delighted and honoured to capture Sandra and Graham's wedding in the beautiful venue of Tulfarris on Friday.  I think it is evident in the photographs how happy they are together and how much they enjoyed their wedding.  I have every confidence that they will make some lucky people the best neighbours too.

Back to the day job!

We really enjoyed meeting so many lovely people at the Wedding Journal fair, and very excited about the weddings we booked for 2012 and 2013.  For those still making their wedding plans, don't forget our wedding fair promotion of a framed print from your pre wedding shoot in a large matt for your guests to sign on your wedding day.

But now after our hectic weekend at the fair I'm finally getting to edit this gorgeous wedding I shot over Christmas - here's a little sneak peak.

It's that time of year again!

We're off to the Wedding Journal Show in Citywest this weekend!  If you are going to the Show, our stand is beside the Style Stage, so please pop in and say 'hello'!

As an incentive to prospective clients who make a booking at the show,  we are offering an image from your pre-wedding shoot, framed in a large matt (usually about 20x26 inches), for your guests to sign on your wedding day.

Also, I have also been busy updating my website, and I would love to hear what you think of it.

I would like to thank my wonderful clients of 2011, it was a pleasure working with all of you.  And I am really looking forward to shooting some fabulous weddings in 2012, and working with some lovely people.

Anita and Eoin, Finnstown House, 14th October 2011

Anita and Eoin's wedding was a joy to photograph.  It was the first wedding for both families, so the excitement and enthusiasim was infectious!  They had a lovely ceremony in Kilnamanagh, and we headed to the Finnstown house for their wedding reception.  I can't praise the hotel enough, it has beautiful locations for photographs, and the thought and care the staff gave to the wedding party was exceptional.

If Anita's flowers look familiar it is because Anita had spotted Kelly's Italian wedding bouquet on my website, and had a very talented lady (Veronica Dunne) replicate it - it was stunning! 

Judi and Paul, Brooklodge, 9th September 2011

Judi and Paul are a sweet, cool, light hearted couple.  They had their wedding ceremony in the beautiful Brooklodge Hotel,  and I think the emotion of the ceremony affected everyone - I even welled up behind the camera!  And then they both had the best time, taking photos in the rain (!), aperitifs with their friends, a fabulous meal, laughing and crying through the speeches, and then everyone gave their all on the dance floor to the brilliant Beatclub.  It was a fantastic wedding, and I am honoured to have been asked to record it for them.
