All you need is a window ...

We built an extension on our house for the purpose of my photography, and on days where I feel pretentious, I like to call it 'my studio'. Photosessions here are very relaxed, I like my clients to feel as if they were bringing their kids to play in a friends house. There is never any rush on my part, lots of tea/coffee/fruit juice on hand, and biscuits and treats as bribery if allowed!

But sometimes its easier for me to come to you. And that is not a problem, I quite enjoy the variety. For a photosession with a new baby all I need is a window, I'd usually ask you to strip down a bed, so we have a nice plain and soft surface and off we go.

Animation and Personality - in spades!

Animation and personality - that's what I look for in a session, and these guys DELIVERED! I admire composed, studio lit photographs - but it's not my photographic style. I use natural light in my relaxed home studio and encourage the kids to play and laugh, to interact with each other and their parents (who are usually with me behind the camera). To catch them being themselves - being kids.

Russell and Melanie Married!

My brother Russell and the beautiful Melanie got married in Waterford Castle last weekend. He's always been a lucky fella, but not only did he get the girl, but after a week of torrential rain - the sun even came out for them! It was a fantastic wedding with many sore heads the next day. I'll be posting more photos from it soon, but here's one to wet your appetite (and also appease my parents temporarily!).

This is my delicious godson Euan. I got to squeeze him lots on Saturday (also change his bum, but the less said about that the better!). Alex, my youngest (and still my baby) is 5 now, where did that time go? Come back dirty nappies - all is forgiven!

Kelly and Ian, 17th July

What an amazing wedding! Kelly and Ian held their reception at Castello IL Palagio Winery in Chianti which was so beautiful - the grounds, the staff, the FOOD - absolutely fantastic. But the best thing on the day was the gorgeous couple, who's love for each other touched everyone there.
